Warren Rosen, Founder and President of Harmony Insurance Brokerage, Inc., grew up in Massapequa, Long Island and attended the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. In his 31 years of experience in the insurance industry, he has received countless awards and served on a number of industry advisory councils. He was Chairman of Agent Advisory Councils, a top Life producer throughout his many years, also a member of Top of the Table and the Forum 400. He has successfully trained and mentored many agents who have reached Court and Top of the Table status.
In 1994, he was the exclusive endorsed insurance broker for the New York Mercantile Exchange, the New York Board of Trade, the Commodity Exchange of NY, and also later reached the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT). With these endorsements, he has provided Individual, group and association insurance for corporations and affluent individuals. This includes Succession Planning, Estate Planning, and Comprehensive Insurance Planning. Currently he has facilitated insurance for over 2000 current and former traders, as well as over 500 corporations. In addition to this niche clientele, he provides Insurance, Estate and Charitable Planning for many other affluent individuals and businesses. He is sought after to lecture at industry conventions and to educate young agents on marketing. He has been called on for commentary on insurance related issues by The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Chicago Times and The San Francisco Sun.
A testament to his focus and experience in dealing with clients during their most difficult times arose from the tragic events of 9/11. On that day his firm lost over fifty clients, most with young families. He closed down the marketing end of his business for months and dedicated his time working with the insurance companies and each of the families personally. He assisted his clients in receiving over 100 million dollars in death benefits the he had put in place, and didn’t move on until his client’s families were completely set up for every aspect of their financial future. He then moved the main office from the Wall Street area to a loft in New York's' Chelsea, recently returning downtown in 2014. The organization is well staffed with seasoned professionals and structured so it can focus on each client's needs.
Warren is an active supporter, doer and donor, of a number of Charitable organizations. A few to note are former Vice Chair of the We Are Family Foundation, Do Something.org, and over 15 other charities. He is also the founder and administrator of the Big Man of the Year award, named in honor of his dear friend Clarence Clemons, who passed away in 2011. This honor has supported Clarence's wishes towards well run organizations that provide education, especially music, for the less fortunate. The award has been presented to numerous well known philanthropic musical luminaries such as Lady Gaga, Jake Clemons, Paul Shaffer, Steven Van Zandt to name a few. He is a recipient of the Journey for Peace Award and the U.S Doctors for Africa Humanitarian award.
He is also an avid runner having completed 2 NYC Full Marathons and 15 Half marathons since 2015 .Warren lives in Manhattan with his wife Jane and their three daughters Raechel, Melodie and Talia. And dog Priscilla.
